Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guides and transferred to the Park Inn by Radisson.

Transfer time is around 20-30 minutes from the airport to the hotel.
Enjoy a group dinner to get to know your travel companions while enjoying traditional Rwandan music and dance entertainment.
After an early morning breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a site dedicated to honouring the memory of the more than one million Rwandans lost in 1994, through education and peace-building initiatives. Here, you will have the opportunity to watch video clips and listen to testimonies from some survivors.

Continue on a scenic drive to Musanze and Ingagi Park View Lodge, where you will enjoy a late lunch and spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the next day’s trekking adventure.
Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Travel time is around 2.5 hours from Kigali to Musanze.
This unique style of Eco lodge is placed on a strategic landscape in the foothills of the Mount Bisoke and Karisimbi, one of the volcanic mountains that make up the Virunga Massif.
The lodge is about 5 minutes to the park ranger station and on about 10 minutes’ drive to the main entrance of the Volcanoes National Park where gorilla trekking starts.
Following breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on the guidelines for your Golden Monkey Trek. After the briefing, venture into the forest in search of these playful and elusive primates. Compared to gorilla trekking, golden monkey trekking is generally less physically demanding while still offering an unforgettable wildlife experience.
Once you encounter the golden monkeys, enjoy time observing them in their natural habitat before hiking back to the starting point.
Return to the lodge for a hot lunch after your trek.
Following lunch, we will visit the Ellen Degeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to learn about gorilla conservation. This is also a great spot to shop for souvenirs.
Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to the Volcanoes National park headquarters for a briefing by park officials on the rules and procedures for visiting the gorillas. Afterwards, enter the rainforest in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas, hiking through dense vegetation and rugged terrain to locate one of the habituated families.
Once you find the gorillas, you will spend an hour sitting in close proximity to these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an unforgettable wildlife encounter. The duration of the trek varies depending on the movement of the gorillas and may take up to half a day.
Our group will be split up into groups of 8, and different difficulties of treks will be available based on your physical fitness. It is also possible to hire local porters to support you during the trek.
After the Gorilla Trek, relax at the lodge for the afternoon.
Lunch and dinner will be served at the lodge.
After breakfast, set out on a scenic excursion to the beautiful Twin Lakes, Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo, where you enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and tranquil waters. This relaxing visit offers perfect moments for photography and quiet reflection.
Enjoy an engaging walk around a traditional Rwandan village, providing an authentic cultural experience as you interact with the locals, learn about daily life, and gain insight into traditional Rwandan customs and hospitality.
In the evening, you will transfer to Kigali, Rwanda.
Transfer time is around 2.5 hours.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to the Kigali International Airport for your return flight, taking with you wonderful memories of your time in Rwanda and the incredible wildlife encounters.
